# Device Checking

The options to select so far are:

1. Windows
2. Linux
3. macOS
4. IOS
5. Android

The developer must check Windows, Linus, and macOS if the web browser option is intended or all devices if the application also covers mobile browsers.

Player UX:

When the player clicks on the dev shop, a new pop will be displayed:

Only the compatible devices icons will be available on this screen.

If the player uses a compatible device, we will redirect them to the 3rd party application when they click the button.

If the player is not using a compatible device, we will pop-up them a message as below:

We will take them to the 3rd party application if they want to proceed.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.developers.upland.me/upland-developers/application-management/third-party-applications/device-checking.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
